The Gradient Illusion

Once again, buddy, feel free to put your name in that box up there so you can pretend this site was made with you in mind and nobody else. Buddy - this next illusion is possibly going to blow your mind. See, the deal with this one is that there's a gradient. Now, buddy, I'm assuming you've seen a gradient, so that isn't what's gonna blow your mind. See, what might just blow poor little buddy's mind is the fact that there's a overlaying the gradient bar. It looks like the bar is a gradient going in the opposite direction, right? Well, buddy, you are very, very wrong about that. In fact, that bar is one solid color. Don't believe me? Buddy, I thought we had a special bond. I thought you trusted me. But since you don't, just scroll down and look at that illusion. If you click the "Prove it" button, you'll see that it really is an illusion. Then, you can hit the "Reset" button and see the gradient background again. Give it a try, buddy.
